In February 2012, Infinity Volunteers will travel to a small village in Guatemala. While there, we will install a rainwater collection, filtration, and storage system for this community that is currently without running water. We look forward to sharing our experiences with you.

The Village of Pueblo Modelo
These are just a few photos to give everyone a glimpse of this beautiful village. The people are warm and welcoming. There is no electricity or running water. They eat tortillas and black beans for every meal....rice is too expensive. They are some of the happiest people I have ever met....

Sleeping Beauties!
Buenos Dias!
It is 6 a.m. here and I am about to get the kids out of bed. We will start our day at the job site a little earlier today in order to do the heavy work before it gets too hot.
Today we will continue with the rebar work and then mix and pour the cement. After lunch, we will distribute more clothing, flip flops, soap, shampoo, lotion, toothpaste, etc to the villagers of Pueblo Modelo. I will try to get more photos of their homes and beautiful community they have built in 5 short years.
After the distribution, Hannah will do her "Tummy Time" presentation to the mothers of the village. This is her Senior Project.....which is intended to teach new moms proper care for their newborns and toddlers.
All for now. Thanks so much for your support!
Love,
Kim
